  15.   More likely because they start it practically when they first begin school,
  16. where here inthe U.S. they don't start foreign languages until 9th grade, or
  17. 7th in a weak way at best. Of course they also may have more motivation.
  18. English is so pervasive, we already knwon the one language that gives the best
  19. widespread utility.
