- More likely because they start it practically when they first begin school,
- where here inthe U.S. they don't start foreign languages until 9th grade, or
- 7th in a weak way at best. Of course they also may have more motivation.
- English is so pervasive, we already knwon the one language that gives the best
- widespread utility.
